Nestled in the midst of our own fruit trees with a park and natural swimming pond and wonderful views of the surrounding mountains, the Gapphof is the ideal place to relax, linger and enjoy.

If you like to stay in a rural setting, but still don't want to miss out on modernity and every comfort, then you've come to the right place.

Our fruit farm, newly built in 2009, is located in Algund, about 500 m from the village centre and at the same time close to the spa town of Meran (approx. 1500 m). From here you can go on wonderful excursions. Whether you prefer mountaineering, visiting museums or the Merano thermal baths, or sporting activities such as cycling and skiing, strolling through the town, everything is possible and also easily accessible by public transport, which can all be used free of charge with the MeranCard.

Our four holiday flats are named after the apple varieties of our two-hectare apple orchard (organic from 2016). All holiday flats are modern and lovingly furnished. The flats "Golden" and "Stark" (for 4-6 people each) are approx. 75 m² in size and are located on the first floor. Both flats have two separate bedrooms, a large dining/living area and a south-facing terrace.
The "Granny" and "Gala" flats (for 2-4 people each) are located on the mezzanine floor and are approx. 45 m² in size. A highlight in this flat is the bathtub sunk into the floor directly in the bedroom, which promises romantic evenings. You can also enjoy the terrace, which was newly installed in 2017, to the full.
All flats have a high-quality kitchen with 4 ceramic hobs, an oven (from Miele), a dishwasher, a fridge with freezer compartment, a coffee machine and a kettle. The flats also have satellite TV, Wi-Fi, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, WC, bidet and bathtub. Coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, oil and vinegar are also provided.
On request we can provide an ironing board and iron, high chair or cot free of charge.
For dogs we also provide dog beds and feeding bowls free of charge on request.

There are games and books to borrow for children of all ages.

Of course you can enjoy our sunbathing lawn to the full. This was newly laid out by a landscape architect in 2009. The swimming pond invites you to cool off after a beautiful hike in the mountains. Afterwards, relax on our sun loungers and treat yourself to some sunbathing. If you are hungry, you are welcome to use our barbecue and grill some juicy sausages and vegetables. Flavour your food with herbs from our garden and then enjoy your meal on the covered tables in the garden. You can also get a freshly tapped beer from our historic stone-walled cellar and really enjoy your meal.

In the large cellar you will also find our home-made products such as apple juice, jams, syrup, herbal salt and much more and if you want to experience something special, let yourself be enchanted by "Mamma Laura's" Mediterranean cuisine. Papà Pietro is responsible for the wine stock in the cellar and for the vegetables in the vegetable garden.

For breakfast you will be served fresh bread rolls from the Algund bakery, milk and butter from the Algund Alpine dairy and, of course, homemade jam from "Mamma Laura". Well fortified, you're ready to go: Discover and admire our beautiful South Tyrol! 

Your four-legged friends will also love the beautiful hikes in South Tyrol. Your dog will have a particularly good time on our farm. He can go everywhere with you and is also welcome on the sunbathing lawn or in the cellar. What's more, your dog has all the exercise it needs right outside the front door: simply walk through the apple orchards!
